GreenVolt is an operating portfolio of 31 rooftop solar installations totalling 14 MWp, spread across commercial and light-industrial hosts in three regions.

The Opportunity

All installations are grid-connected and revenue-generating, with a production history of 26 months at 101.7% of the P50 estimate. Revenues combine index-linked offtake agreements with a merchant tail, giving contracted cash flow with inflation protection.

  • 12-year weighted remaining offtake term, CPI-indexed
  • Production insurance covering P90 shortfall scenarios
  • Tier-1 inverters and modules, full O&M contract in place
  • Portfolio-level availability of 99.2% since commissioning

Deal Structure

Investors acquire units in the holding company alongside the founding sponsor, who retains a 20% stake and day-to-day management. Distributions are semi-annual, with a defined waterfall and a sponsor promote only above an 8% preferred return.

Projected Returns

Underwriting indicates a levered IRR of 11–13% with a 10-year target hold, driven predominantly by contracted revenues rather than merchant assumptions.

Exit Strategy

Sale to an infrastructure fund or utility consolidator once the portfolio passes 30 MWp through the committed pipeline; the sector's transaction record for operating portfolios of this size remains deep and liquid.
